Chinese tech co, Lenovo, has revealed its new all-in-one AR headset, daystAR, at its Tech World ’17 event.
The cable-free device features an independent VPU and a 43-degree field of vision, with core tech that includes 3D object recognition, overlaying augmented information, and remote assistance. A customised depth camera and an IMU multisensory array allow for ‘natural hand gesture interaction’.
daystAR runs on Lenovo’s open source AR platform.

Lenovo also recently revealed that it is partnering with Disney on Star Wars AR hardware.
